Warranty

Limited 1- year warranty

For a period of 12 months from the date of the work, the Painter Ready Independent Franchise Contractor associated with your project will repair any newly applied paint which may peel or blister as a result of a defect in workmanship free of any labor charge.

Warranty limitations

  • The cost of paint required to perform the repairs is not covered by this warranty.
  • Any work where the Painter Ready Independent Franchise Contractor did not supply the paint or other materials is not covered by this warranty.
  • Any work not performed by the Painter Ready Independent Franchise Contractor is not covered by this warranty.
  • Varnished surfaces or surfaces made of, or containing, galvanized metal are not covered by this warranty.
  • Horizontal surfaces, or any surface that by virtue of its design permits moisture to collect, are not covered by this warranty. Such surfaces include: decks, stairs, railings, porches, roofs and wood gutters.
  • Repairs will be performed only on the specific areas where peeling and/or blistering has occurred.
  • Peeling or blistering, which results from a defect in the paint applied, is not covered by this warranty regardless of whether the paint is supplied by the Painter Ready Independent Franchised Contractor or the customer. Customer's responsibilities

For this warranty to be effective, you must:

  • Pay the full contract price.
  • Retain a copy of the original contract.
  • Retain a copy of your cancelled check or other evidence of payment in full.
  • Pay for all materials used to perform the repairs.
  • Make the property reasonably accessible to the Painter Ready Independent Franchised Contractor or his or her employees.

This limited warranty is the only express warranty made by the Painter Ready Independent Franchise Contractor and is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied. This warranty is applicable only to painting services provided to the original purchaser. The Painter Ready Independent Franchise Contractor shall not be liable for materials, workmanship or breach of this warranty, nor shall the Painter Ready Independent Franchise Contractor be liable for any incidental or consequential damages or damages in excess of the original contract price. At no time may this warranty be altered or extended for any purpose.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts so the above limitation may not apply to you. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
